About This Course

This course provides system administrators, implementation specialists, and business analysts with the hands-on skills to set up and manage the Apache Fineract . You will learn to configure a secure, compliant, and efficient Fineract instance from the ground up, establishing the critical foundation for a stable and scalable financial institution.

This program covers five key pillars of Fineract platform management:

• Foundational System Configuration: Master the core Fineract architecture by defining global parameters, structuring data tables, and setting preferences for account numbers and entity mappings. These settings are crucial for ensuring platform-wide integrity.

• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security protocols by configuring detailed user roles, permissions, and password policies within Fineract. You will learn to leverage the audit trail for traceability and apply the maker-checker principle to reduce operational risk.

• Financial Engine Configuration: Configure Fineract's financial core by managing currencies, payment types, and teller operations. You will build the Chart of Accounts and master Product-to-GL mapping to ensure every transaction is recorded accurately for reliable financial reporting.

• End-to-End Product Management: Translate business requirements into market-ready financial products. Learn to create and manage a full suite of deposit products and configure complex loan products within Fineract, including rules for collateral, fees, penalties, and delinquency management.

• Automation and Integration: Streamline operations by configuring scheduler jobs to automate routine tasks. You will also use web hooks to enable real-time integration between your Fineract instance and other third-party fintech services.
